This compact 12V sealed lead-acid battery provides 7Ah of reliable energy storage in an exceptionally space-efficient package, making it ideal for applications where size and weight constraints are critical considerations. The battery delivers its full 7Ah capacity when discharged over a 20-hour period at 25°C with a 10.5V cutoff voltage, while maintaining good performance at faster discharge rates of 6.6Ah (10-hour rate) and 4.58Ah (1-hour rate), providing versatility for both standby and cyclic applications.
The ultra-compact design measures just 152mm in length, 67mm in width, and 99mm in height, with a total height including terminals of 105mm, making it one of the most space-efficient batteries in its capacity class. At only 2.10kg (approximately 4.9 pounds), it offers excellent portability while maintaining the robust construction expected from professional-grade sealed lead-acid technology.
The battery features T1/T2 copper terminals that provide secure, corrosion-resistant connections optimized for the smaller form factor. While the internal resistance is higher at approximately 28mΩ when fully charged compared to larger batteries, this is typical for the compact design and still enables respectable peak performance with a maximum discharge current of 105A for 5 seconds, sufficient for most small-scale high-current applications.
Temperature performance remains reliable across the full operational range, with the battery capable of storage from -20°C to +50°C and optimal performance between 22°C and 28°C. Like its larger counterparts, this model provides enhanced capacity at elevated temperatures, delivering 102% of rated capacity at 40°C, while maintaining 85% capacity at 0°C and 65% capacity at -15°C, ensuring dependable operation in varied environmental conditions.
The charging system is optimized for the smaller capacity with float charging at 13.60-13.80V and cyclic charging at 14.50-14.90V, both featuring temperature compensation of -18mV/°C and -30mV/°C respectively. The maximum charging current is appropriately scaled at 2.1A, ensuring safe and efficient charging while preventing thermal stress on the compact cells.
