This enhanced 12V sealed lead-acid battery delivers 9Ah of reliable energy storage while maintaining the same compact form factor as smaller capacity units, making it an excellent choice for applications requiring maximum power density in space-constrained environments. The battery achieves its full 9Ah capacity when discharged over a 20-hour period at 25°C with a 10.3V cutoff voltage, while delivering impressive performance at accelerated discharge rates of 8.4Ah (10-hour rate) and 5.8Ah (1-hour rate), providing exceptional versatility for both standby and high-drain applications.
Despite the increased capacity, the battery maintains the same ultra-compact dimensions of 152mm length, 67mm width, and 99mm height, with a total terminal height of 105mm. At 2.40kg (approximately 5.3 pounds), it offers the best power-to-weight ratio in its size class while incorporating advanced sealed lead-acid technology for superior performance and reliability.
The battery features professional T1/T2 copper terminals that ensure excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. A significant advantage of this model is its lower internal resistance of approximately 19mΩ when fully charged, which is notably better than smaller capacity batteries in the same form factor. This reduced resistance enables superior power delivery characteristics and allows for a higher maximum discharge current of 135A for 5 seconds, making it suitable for applications requiring substantial instantaneous power delivery.
Temperature performance remains exceptional across the complete operational envelope, with storage capability from -20°C to +50°C and optimal performance between 22°C and 28°C. The battery demonstrates enhanced capacity at elevated temperatures, providing 102% of rated capacity at 40°C, while maintaining reliable performance with 85% capacity at 0°C and 65% capacity at -15°C, ensuring dependable operation in diverse environmental conditions.
The optimized charging system accommodates both float and cyclic applications with precision voltage regulation. Float charging operates at 13.60-13.80V with -18mV/°C temperature compensation, while cyclic charging utilizes 14.50-14.90V with -30mV/°C compensation. The maximum charging current of 2.7A is appropriately scaled for the increased capacity, enabling efficient charging while maintaining thermal stability within the compact housing.
